Atelier's training equipment
Equipment for training is suitable for the most demanding industrial needs.
They belong to three categories: Traditional equipment needed in the conceiving phase – they are manual equipment with a paper support on which the initial ideas can be transferred.
Digital equipment needed in the development phase of the project. They are mono and stereo recording and projecting devices, printing and communication devices. They are linked to powerful software and advanced computers able to perform all the professional tasks of paint, CAS – CAD – CAM three–dimensional modelling, animation, video editing and postproduction. Sophisticated digital equipment to control ergonomics, perception and enjoyable usage of complex objects such as vehicle interiors and public places. These devices are able to develop stereo images of "real time immersive reality" or "3D augmented reality". They are based on a stereo head mounted display (HMD) and a head position detector. Visual instruments are supported by haptic devices.
Students should:
have their own computers equipped with operating system and application software in their mother tongue in order to be able to work autonomously (especially for languages based on Asian alphabets).
Know the paint and 3D modelling SW well enough to be able to work autonomously.
be able to work on operating systems in the English or Italian language. They should have a semi-professional camera which they are able to use properly.
It is possible to organize personalized courses for students who cannot work autonomously with such equipment.
