TRAINING

ASTAD deals with TRAINING in DESIGN through the "learning by doing" formula. Astad conducts training on “real cases” related to production of goods and services. Training takes place in the Astad's ATELIER. Training goes through the full Accounting – Strategic Planning – Creative Development cycle and provides basic elements for creating a BRAND and its products.

Students gain useful experience in three professional outlets:

• design departments of large or medium-sized companies,
  
• Public Administration departments dealing with public services and land registry,
  
• freelance companies (Venture Capital).

ATELIER

Astad adopts a training format called "ATELIER". Atelier is a place where students develop projects like in a professional studio. Each student, alone or in an interdisciplinary and multi-professional group, get a brief about a theme. He has to interpret and develop it in a defined time. A tutor or a qualified assistant helps each student or group.

1. acceptance, enrolment and costs
Training paths have the following lenghts: one month, three months, one year. Students stay in Atelier eight hours per day, like in a professional studio. Entries can be done at any time of year depending on the chosen route. In compliance with conventions between Astad and its partner, training may be free or fee. Astad provides assistance to obtain residence permits and housing. Astad assists in all other practical needs.

2. certificates
Astad awards three types of certificates: certificate of attendance - certificate of personal qualification - Master certificate. All certificates carry the logos of public and private institutional bodies which support the Association. Astad doesn't award qualifications by Italian Ministry of Public Learning.

3. universities credits
Astad may award university credits on agreement with foreign universities.
